Queer Prom

Come join us for Airdrie’s second ever Queer Prom, this year with a Y2K theme! One of our driving beliefs is that youth in the 2SLGBTQ+ community should not have to leave their community to find their community. We want our youth to find connections in their city and celebrate the end of the school year with style. We believe Queer Prom is a great opportunity to support our 2SLGBTQ+ youth youth who proudly call Airdrie and the surrounding area home. For these reasons, and many more, we are passionate to make this new event successful and impactful. We can’t wait to see you there!

Date: Saturday, June 3rd
Time: 6:30-11:00 PM
Location: Boys and Girls Club Airdrie (200 East Lake Crescent)
Attendees: Grades 9-12 from Airdrie and surrounding area. On May 23, any remaining tickets will open up to all the 2SLGBTQ+ youth of Alberta.
Dress: This event is semi-formal to formal. Dress as your best, authentic self! Feel free to include any Y2K elements to your outfits 🙂
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
● Your ticket must be presented for entry into the event
● There will be change rooms on site
● There will be a bag and coat check on site
● No alcohol, drugs or smoking/vaping. We want to ensure the event is comfortable for all
attendees.

● Wheelchair accessible
● Inclusive washrooms (i.e. one with urinals and one without urinals)
● Seating will be available
● This event will have loud background music (ear plugs and/or a quiet room will be
available if needed)
