Hailed for his angelic, inviting presence, Robert Adam is known for breaking barriers between generations.
Born and raised in the small town of Bonnyville, Alberta, Robert Adam now calls Crossfield, Alberta, Canada home. Adam is an eclectic human who happens to be the most gritty, pretty cowboy you’ve ever seen. Whether it’s rhinestoning his outfit, placing top 12 in Wild 95.3’s prestigious Project Wild competition, or graduating honour roll at SAIT with a heavy-duty mechanics degree, he is anything but one dimensional.
In a sharp elegant stetson and illuminated in rodeo crystal, Robert Adam crafts records with a reverent respect for traditional country music, while infusing an accessible, modern tone.
Emily Ripley is a 23-year-old non-binary musician, drag performer, and visual artist born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. They started performing live original music directly after graduating high school with a heavy musical theatre background in 2016. They have played all over Calgary as well as Vancouver, and even the Ottawa Blues Fest in 2018. They have released multiple singles and EP’s available on all streaming platforms.
Creating music is truly their biggest passion, but having such a heavy theatre background, they dreamed of doing more when it comes to being on stage. In August of 2021, they took the stage for the first time as “Rip Em” their drag alter ego where they are free to live and play as their true, whacky, self. They can be seen prancing all over the city, as well as at Twisted Element as the bi-weekly host of the show “Twisted’s Got Talent”, a weekly drag and cabaret act open stage where performers are free to sign up to compete for a paid spot in a Weekend show. With energy bursting out of every orifice they have, Emily Ripley (Rip Em) brings a performance full of passion, emotion, and a whole lot of giggles!
